Yamaha vmax restoration

Engine mounted on stand, heads, pump and all covers removed in preparation for painting. Had to remove the clutch basket in order to remove the gear change shaft. This was rusty and I also wanted to replace the oil seal. Likewise the clutch rod was removed to allow the seal to be replaced.

I chose Eastwood’s Ceramic black gloss high temperature engine enamel with acclerator to use on the engine. The paint doesn't need thinning for spraying, just make sure the spray jet is no larger than 1.3.
