Next is the v-boost unit. Pretty straightforward as it was just a matter of taking it all apart. I didn’t try to remove the butterflies, as from experience it’s very difficult to remove the screws. Unfortunately, all the rubber mounts had perished as well as the rubber caps. I sand blasted all the metal work and vapour blasted the aluminium castings. I had all the metalwork zinc plated in silver and gold. First photo is before disassembly and photo two is complete mounted on the engine.
